On November 1st and 2nd, I was honored to participate in Flag Placement Ceremonies at Veterans Memorial Cemetery and across six local cemeteries in the Newark area. Lt. J. Allison O'Daniel, Delaware Post 10 American Legion members, of which I am a member, planned the event.

I have participated before but always feel the same - profound gratitude to veterans who have ensured we can enjoy freedom.

Thank you to all veterans for your service and sacrifice. Happy Veterans Day!
