Hockessin United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch Event a Success!

On October 12, 2024, Hockessin United Methodist Church held its annual Pumpkin Patch Event, and it was a day filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit! The event was a resounding success, thanks in large part to the efforts of our dedicated volunteers.

We were blessed to witness incredible teamwork among our volunteers as they worked together to ensure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. Their support of the very young children attending the event was particularly touching, showing the care and patience needed to make the day enjoyable for our youngest participants.

Our volunteers' caring nature was evident from start to finish, creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere for all. In addition, they took on the challenging tasks of setting up, taking down, and maintaining the course enthusiastically and efficiently.

I am deeply grateful to all our volunteers for the hours they dedicated to this event, and we truly couldn’t have done it without them! Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year’s Pumpkin Patch Event one to remember.
